Root Beer B.B.Q. Chicken Wings

This Wing recipe has it all the wings are tender and juicy

You  dont have  to wait for  National Root Beer float Day to enjoy  them.

They good well with twisted Root Beer Float

 

 

3 pounds chicken wings tips or no tips it’s  up to you

2 cups root beer

1/2 teaspoon to as much you like red pepper flakes

1/2 cup olive oil

salt and pepper

Put a Large zip plastic bag in a bowl, Add all the ingredients squeeze to mix, Mix until wings are well coated.Push all the air out of the bag zip closed and put bowl in the refrigerator overnight.

Or at least 4 hours.

 

Over  medium coles on one side oe if gas on medium on one side. Place wings Over heet 2 minutes each side then move to other side cover cook 20 to 25 minutes or until cooked through.

In a Large bowl put wings and sauce toss until well coated work in batches as to cover all the wings

 

 

Sauce

2cups root beer

1 cup ketchup

1/2 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon ginger fresh or ground

1 teaspoon kosher salt

 

Boil the root beer in an 2-quart sauce pot over high heat until reduced by half, about 15 minutes.

Lower the heat to a medium-low and add the ketchup, brown sugar, cider vinegar, pepper, ground ginger and salt. Simmer, stirring frequently,

Until the sauce reaches the desired thickness, another 5 to 10 minutes.

Store in refrigerator
