I love a good Meatball appetizer,a little something amongst the dips, and crudites
cheese boards and hummus. This recipe happen to be my favorite meatball recipe of all

1 pound ground pork
2/3 cups day old breadcrumbs
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

2 8 oz cans tomato sauce
2 tablespoon light brown sugar
2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 450°F. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground meat breadcrumbs, egg, spices Shape into mini meatballs and arrange on a baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes, flip, and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes. Transfer meatballs to a large slow cooker.
- Bring the root beer to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until the root beer measures approximately 1 cup, about 10 minutes. Add the ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika to the saucepan and whisk to combine.
