Green Olive Cheese Puffs

This is a recipe that I got from my Granny.Whats old is new again and everyone from 1 to 100 loves them as much as I did and still do. they are light and the olive inside add a little salty brine flavor yum!

2cups cheddar cheese, grated

12cup  softened butter

14teaspoon paprika

1/4teaspoon Cayenne pepper

1cup sifted flour

18teaspoon salt

 24 green olives
 Soften cheese and work all ingredients together with hands, and roll into balls the size of marbles.push olive into the center and roll to seal dough over the olive.
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
Makes 6 dozen.
Note: These can be frozen for months.
To freeze: place on cookie sheet, freeze then store in plastic bag.
Bake when needed.
